This May bank holiday weekend I hatched a plan to celebrate Japan. With the recent waiting game taking it’s toll I thought it was a nice idea to remind ourselves why we want to move to Japan.

We had never totally forgotten this, but a reminder was due and well received! We remembered the importance of seeking adventure; that you won’t remember all of the days in work but the experiences you have; and that you really, do, only live once! We also talked about why we enjoy Japan so much: the food; the scenery; the people; the community.

The day opened with our reminders and talking about Japan, followed by ‘Lost in Translation’ and concluded with a delicious evening meal at Umezushi.

All in all a successful day and now we are more excited than ever about moving to Japan!
